Cancellation Policy: There are no refunds. All sales are final.

Change Fee Policy: If changes are allowed on a tour or activity, a $20.00 per reservation change fee will be applied for any change to a reservation. Please note that some tours and activities do not allow any changes. Date changes can only be made only if we can confirm availability on the new date. While we cannot guarantee any changes can be made, all change requests must be submitted a minimum of 24 hours prior to the tour departure and must be handled on an individual basis through our Reservations Center.

Does the Ryman feature only country music? -- Not at all! The Ryman also hosts rock, alternative, gospel, classical, jazz, bluegrass as well as musical theatre.

Is the Ryman the original home of the Grand Ole Opry? -- No. Since its beginnings in 1925, the Grand Ole Opry has called the following venues home:

  1. National Life and Accident Insurance Company in downtown Nashville - 1925 to 1934
  2. Hillsboro Theatre - 1934 to 1936
  3. Dixie Tabernacle in east Nashville - 1936 to 1939
  4. War Memorial Auditorium - 1939 to 1943
  5. Ryman Auditorium - 1943 to 1974

When is the Ryman Auditorium open? -- The Ryman is open daily for tours from 9:00 am, except Thanksgiving, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Concerts and musical theatre are in the evening.

She brought home the National Theatre of the Year Award in both 2003 and 2004 and was in the running again this year at the 18th Annual Pollstar Concert Industry Awards. The Ryman has attracted world class entertainment to its stage for 115 years, and has been named the Best Place to See Live Music in the Nashville Scene, Best Concert Venue in All the Rage, and CitySearch.com voted the Ryman one of the ten "Best Places to Hear Live Music" in America for the fifth year in a row!

Make a Record at the Ryman! Do you sing? For an additional charge, you can visit the Ryman's recording studio and cut your own CD. Choose from a selection of classic songs or bring an original composition of your own and let a professional sound engineer record your rendition right in the Ryman Auditorium. Your Ryman Records CD — labeled with your name and song — will make a great souvenir or special gift. Recordings must be arranged separately and are not available during tours.
