Chaffin's Barn Dinner Theatre is Nashville's most unique dining and entertainment experience. We are now in our 42nd season serving the Nashville area with our premium professional theatre.

Your Chaffin's Barn experience begins the moment you enter the rustic barn doors and take a look around our inviting lobby. One of our friendly hosts will show you and your party into the dining room, taking you to the table especially reserved for you. You know you're in for a relaxing, satisfying, enjoyable evening. It's a night of food, fun and entertainment.

Once you're seated, one of our server/performers will take your beverage order. We offer a variety of free soft drinks and also have a full service bar if you would like a glass of wine or a cocktail with dinner. Next, you'll help yourself to our garden fresh salad bar and Chaffin's sumptuous country-style buffet featuring numerous mouth-watering entrees and specially prepared vegetables and side dishes. It's "all-you-care-to-eat," but be sure to save room for our delicious desserts which are all prepared fresh daily!

After you've eaten, the real "magic" begins. The lights dim and the stage descends from the ceiling to the center of the theatre giving every audience member an excellent view of the action.

For the next two hours or so you'll be transported to another place and time by our talented cast of professional actors. With over forty years of experience, Chaffin's Barn can provide an unforgettable evening of dinner and theatre for you and the rest of your party!

Alone Together
June 5 - July 5

Remember those wonderful comedies of the fifties and sixties? This play is firmly in that tradition. George and Helen are a middle aged couple whose children have finally left the nest. They are alone together, but not for long. All three sons come charging back home after experiencing some hard knocks in the real world, (one even bringing along a friend) and Mom and Dad have quite a time pushing them out again!

A Bad Year for Tomatoes
August 28 - October 4

Fed up with the pressures of her acting career, Myra Marlowe leases a house in the tiny town of Beaver Haven, Mississippi to plant tomatoes and write her memoirs. However, her rest and relaxation is interrupted by some very intriguing neighbors and soon Myra has to invent a crazy "sister" to scare the meddling neighbors off.

Breaking Legs
October 9 - November 8

The term "break a leg" is associated with wishing good luck to actors, but the expression has a slightly different connotation when the world of the Mafia hilariously collides with the world of the theatre.

Murder at the Howard Johnson's
November 13 - November 30

All is fair in love...even murder? That's the question posed by this light and funny suspense comedy about a love triangle in a Howard Johnson's Motor Inn. Set on Christmas Eve, Independence Day and New Year's Eve, this comedy will have you roaring with laughter.
