The play focuses on the evening in a Houston Ballroom when Louise hears of Patsy's death in a plane crash. The show also features other hit songs of the era. This is a very popular show, so make sure to order your tickets early!

Tier 1 Seating (Yellow sections on the seating chart)
Tier 2 Seating (Blue sections on the seating chart) The Story Louise Seger became an immediate and avid Patsy Cline fan from the moment she first heard her sing. She even hounded a local radio disc jockey to play Cline's records. Patsy came to Houston for a show in 1961. Louise and some of her friends arrived about 90 minutes early and by chance met Cline who was traveling alone to the show. The two women became fast friends and Patsy even stayed the night at Louise's house. Their friendship lasted until Patsy tragically died in a plane crash in 1963. The relationship between the two women started out as a fan idolizing the singing star, but it evolved into a true friendship. It is the kind of relationship that many fans would like to have with their heroes. Over a pot of strong coffee, the two women chatted about their common concerns. When Patsy left for her next job in Dallas, the two women exchanged addresses and telephone numbers. Louise fully expected never to hear from Patsy again. But, it wasn't long before Louise got the first of many letters and phone calls from her idol and friend. The pen-pal relationship between the two women provides much of the plot of the show.
